What can we do with our NFTs?

Trap Game in its purest form is a risky game of Cat and Mouse.

Mice try to steal $TRAP money from Cats, while Cats will do whatever it takes to stack more $TRAP money even if it means killing a mouse or two along the way.

There are 2 outcomes when revealing your minted NFT.

Every minted NFT has a 90% chance to reveal a Mouse and a 10% chance to reveal a Cat.

After reveal, players can stake their NFTs to earn emissions in the form of $TRAP money.

Mouse/Mice:

  • Mice have a 90% chance to be minted.

  • Mice, when staked, go on quests for $TRAP money.

  • Mice earn 1 $TRAP for every 24 hours staked (rewards are earned in realtime).

  • Mice can only be unstaked after 48 hours of being staked.

  • When a Mouse claims and withdraws $TRAP, it pays a 20% tax to the Treasury Pool as a bribe to avoid Cat detection (example: if you have 10 $TRAP, you withdraw, you will receive 8 $TRAP).

  • Mice cannot be unstaked within 48 hours of claiming $TRAP because they have to hide in fear after stealing precious $TRAP money from the Cats.

  • New Mice can be minted with $TRAP, there is a 90% chance to mint a new Mouse.

  • Mice have a 25% chance of never leaving the Trap House when a player tries to unstake. Beware! Cats are vicious creatures and will not hesitate to use violence to keep Mice in the Trap House.

Cats:

  • Cats have a 10% chance to be minted.

  • Cats, when staked, roam all around the Trap House and guard their precious $TRAP money.

  • Cats, when staked, earn $TRAP money for running the Trap House.

  • Cats can only be unstaked after 48 hours of being staked.

  • Cats earn 1 $TRAP for every 24 hours staked (rewards are earned in realtime).

  • Sometimes when a Mouse gets greedy and tries to steal more than he should, Cats get angry and kill the Mouse. This action is represented by when a player withdraws a staked Mouse, there is a 25% chance it gets stolen by a staked Cat. The stolen Mouse will be randomly enslaved by a staked Cat (i.e. the stolen Mouse NFT gets sent to the wallet of a random Cat in the staked Cat Pool. This Mouse will automatically be staked in Mice Pool for the new owner).

  • New Cats can be minted with $TRAP, there is a 10% chance to mint a new Cat.

  • Cats can only be unstaked after 48 hours of being staked.

  • Cats can claim $TRAP anytime and there is no cooldown to unstake after. They own the Trap House, they can do whatever they want.

$TRAP Money Mint Details

After the initial 2k supply is minted. Additional NFTs can be minted with $TRAP money.

For $TRAP mints up to a total supply of 5,000, $TRAP mints are priced along a linear bonding curve. From 5,000 mints onwards, $TRAP price per new mint will be switched to a dynamic dutch auction pricing model based on historical pricing and existing demand. This means that the cost to mint a new NFT will be based on the current market demand and adjusted accordingly for the next day.
